Bonjour! Comment t’allez vous?

I'm starting my second week of classes at LA Pierce College. I'm taking French I and a drawing class (the drawing class actually starts this week).

My French classes are Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-9:30 pm for 5 units and the drawing class is actually at Birmingham High School in Van Nuys on Tuesdays from 6:10-9:50 pm for 3 units – 8 units in all! I got my official student ID, my textbooks, parking pass, all that jazz. We'll see how it goes.

Jeopardy! Archive

I couldn't believe that I stumbled across this website: every single question/answer ever revealed on Jeopardy! in the modern era (with Alex Trebek as host) including the two pilot episodes from 1983 and 1984. Over 82,000 'questions' – what a resource!

Honest Abe – honestly?

Here's an interesting website about a picture of a man who some believe to be Abraham Lincoln in his 30s, making it the earliest known photograph of our 16th president.

The Dagurerrotye of young Abraham Lincoln

Incidentally, Lincoln was assasinated in 1865 when he was only 56 years old, although he looked 20 years older.
